Hi, I'm new to the MPC so my question might be a little stupid for those who know that thing in and out.
I'm into sampling for a long time and worked with different machines (Emu E64, Roland W30 and S10, Casio FZ1, Akai S900 and S950) but what makes me scratch my head when chopping with the MPC 2000 (classic) is the difference between what you hear and the display. I dont know if that is normal (maybe it has somehing to do with a bad RAM or so) but when I set the endpoint by ear, the display tell me that the endpoint is really after the Attack of the next sound.
Crazy.
Of course some samplers do some crazy things (like some of the behaviour of the s950) but this is the most noticeable thing I've seen on samplers.
So does anyone know about this behaviour?
