JJ OS 3.08 problems loading sounds (am I trippin?)

Hi All,
I updated my mpc 1000 to the free OG JJ OS last night. This morning I had a few min to turn it on and mess with it & found a big problem. I only had a about 5 min, but when I tried uploading a program or individual sound, it would load it....but not tell me what pad its was placed on, or be placed on any of the pads at all. So I basically could never get a sound on any of the pads. When loading up the sound I press play and can hear it fine, but not when Im loading. Anyone know wuts up? I'll mess with it more tonight, but any insight would help. I had another 1000 awhile ago and used the jj os and had no issues. Not sure wuts up... Thanks

Strange..........Maybe you have to turn on the sample asign. In the load screen press the window button to do so.

If thats not then I dunno.
