So i installed a new CF card reader, which is working fine, and I also
wanted to run an internal hard drive. Everything was wired and going well,
it read my hard drive and I formatted it to SCSI-1 and saved some files from the
CF card reader. Next I was getting ready to mount everything so I took out the hard drive and I removed the flash board before taking it out, and when I went back to turn it on nothing was showing up on my hard drive.
Since then I have re-booted both OS's, swapped out SCSI cables, tried to run my spare hard drive, etc, etc. but all with no success. I am using the same jumper settings as I was when it read the internal the first time. I have two 80 pin to 50 pin scsi adapters, and with one i get zero hard drive response and with the other i get power but still no luck reading it on the mpc. I have tried all possible combinations of both hard drives and both adapters, some different jumper settings etc.
Does anyone have any clues? I realize if it comes down to it I don't really need the internal hard drive but it would sure be nice to get it working again.
