How to sample sounds from a SOUND MODULE(?)

I borrowed a bass module from a friend to sample sounds from it.


Can anybody tell me how to sample the sounds with my mpc?? or any other way to save them for future use???

uhm.... how do you normally sample sounds to the mpc? I suggest trying it the same way...


For instance, if you have the bass module hooked up to a mixer, then hook the mixer outs to the mpc record ins and sample them....

not that hard.

It's a lot easier to do this with a 1000 as the 1000 has the ability to resample it's own sequences -

Set the 1000 up to record in and hit play - it'll record your sequence right in -

Or if you have a 2000xl you'll have to hook your midi keyboard up directly up into your bass module and go that route

Or sample your bass module into the computer - see plenty of options

plug it in, plug it in, baby!

just plug your 1/4" from the bass modules headphone jack or main outputs into the input on the back of your MPC and sample away.
