WTF this one dude used 5 of my beats without a permit ?!

Also, I recently noticed (through a Google search) that one of my tracks is featured on a compilation album that I knew nothing about!

Thankfully the situation is in the process of being sorted and contracts are being drawn up now...

alright, i sent a message to the dude and this is what basically happenned:



i answerred back to him, saying that the whole freaking out-shit was because the beats were used without my permission, and the didnt even inform me about using the beats, i told him that he can use the beat in the first track he has up on his myspace, but he needs to take the rest down...

his boy aka. "Sleep" apparently took the track down where he had used my beat

i typed a lecture about being honest and giving the credits when the credit´s due and not using the damn beats without me informing clearly that theose can be used

so thats that, btw he said that i was trying to indimidate him with the messages or some shit ?! haha and somthing like "yo my boy told me you had told him that we can use them beat to whatever i want" which was a news to me cause i never said anything like that

so its all sorted now, thanks for the help dudes !!!

It's tough making money from music these days. Personally I think the market is flooded with average (at best) tunes and artists. I'm just happy to produce for my own pleasure, and couldn't really care if I ever 'make it'.

Sometimes I have my DJ lay down abunch of cuts ....Sometimes I lay out tarded samples threw out the track......Others I say f it come get it......I found some of my tracks on mixtapes aswell.... Kinda had me like , was someone gonna tell me..............If it really bugs you go for the juggular......Get that cash!
