Playing more than 1 instrument at a time w/ Sound Module

Hi guys,
Been getting up to speed with the 2000xl, and am enjoying making beats from scratch. Problem is, currently I am only using drums and bass utilizing two seperate MPC programs, and piano/organs from a Alesis QSR sound module. Problem is, I'd love to add more instruments by utilizing different tracks/channels on the Alesis sound module... but I don't know how.

I don't have the 8-outs (don't know if I need it), and I've tried switching the tracks on the MPC for different instruments on sound module; even though the sound module has like 8 channels, it only lets me use one at a time.

Can someone help me with this? I'm gonna start posting my beats shortly

Except I'm using a 2000xl of course . Just trying to add alot of instruments like he did in the vid.

Then, my friend, read the manual to your QSR module, and you should stumble upon something called "Mixes", where it is explained in detail.
