You can easily get the same thing by setting a sample to loop and changing the end point. I never even thought about any more complex ways, it's defineatly real simple to do it like that.

Sounds to me like he just recorded a vocal sample into the asr 10. Chopped it up little by little using the non destructive asr chopping and played it out.

I know i used to love chopping on the ASR, it would get your chops way more fluid then on the MP.. cus you could just select new start & end points without taking more slots in the RAM.

well that's an UGLY beat ahhahahaha... a question of taste...
no its not the same thing... this isnt an overtriggered sample.. just a ''staggered'' one.. sorry i invent terms english is my third language...
but i dunnow... the staggered tamil thing.. it looks like its simply chopped to me.. at first i thought it was a gate.. but its really choppy... so it could as well be a simple muting... there are tons of ways to achieve this..
