Updates as far as feature requests? Or are there specific bugs that prevent you from doing certain functions using your MPC5K? If so..which ones? There isn't much activity in the bug report threads.

Well there is a certain bug that is BUGGING the hell out of me, and it's the reason why I haven't turned off my mpc5000 in over a month now. Basically when I try loading a series of sequences and and songs I made on my mpc2500, the program names will load but the samples will not load with the program, I have to go and load each program manually again in order to make the samples play, because otherwise they do not get loaded, this takes a hell of a lot of time specially for big projects.

I'd love it if it worked as it should. and regardless it's been quite a while since they released 1.02 so they should **** release 1.03 already... I mean how many people are working in that development team 1, 2 are they a bit slow in the head or what is it?

**** get it together akai... I did not spend 2,500 Us for a headache I mean I still love the mpc5000 but come ON!!!!!!!!!!!! if I wanted a headache I would have bought a hammer for $9.99.

I would check with tech support. If you send them your program they can analyze it in case there are some crazy files. I've had no problem loading my friends 2500 programs.

Did you add this problem to the bug thread or contacted Akai? Also, what MPC 2500 OS was used to create the programs? Are you willing to send the programs to MPC 5K users to trouble shoot your problem?

I have not contacted akai. Maybe I should.

It was made with the latest OS for the MPC 2500..

and yes I am willing to send the program.

Add this to the bug thread. Check your PM.

I thought this was a feature, not a bug!
I have a tip, this is what I do.
For every song I make a new directory. Then I just load the directory. It will recursively include all samples, programms, .mid ans .s50 files
The problem with this is that you can't use one programm on different songs without duplicating them. But that is fine with me.

This happens with the 5000 when the files are not where they were originally saved...at least it happened to me anyway...so if you're loading 2500 stuff, it loads the program names since it recognizes THOSE file names...but as for the locations of the sounds.....
