Ha, thanks man. What's listed is a majority of the gear I've been collecting for about a decade and a half or so. I have to blame it on that disease y'all usually talk about, that's when I was younger of course.

I've invested a lot more than $10,000 in my studio, but now I'm down to the MPC2500, Technics turntble, and a korg kaoss pad.

Yeah I feel ya. Over the past 10+ years, I've spent over $10,000 or more... sold some gear, bought more gear, sold some more. Now it's fairly minimal compared to what I used to have. Still more than enough to keep me busy.

Well, I have invested quite a bit of money. I couldn't tell you an exact price but I am thinkin' it's in the 15 to 18,000 range. I have homies who have the tight whips with the candy paint and 24s and screens and bang in the trunk. I spend my bread on my studio. flowers jewelry and wheels and shyt... I wanna bang out and vibe to my music!!!

i would love to narrow my studio down but i love what i have....

i could probably swap my asq-10 and asr-x for a mpc2500 but that's about it

between the poly-evolver, nord 3, and korg mono-poly i can't bring myself to get rid of one.
oh yeah i would estimate my studio at about $7000, about half that is mics and preamps.

I have about $13,000 invested, purely from being bored. One of the biggest mistakes I have made.

I did however, get to learn many new sampler/drum machines. Beautiful creations, a lot of them are. I am now selling half of my equipment in order to get ready for college.

My favorites are: Yamaha RS7000, MV8000, ASR X Pro (the sequencer really is shit, but you can work it), E-Mu Emax, Yamaha SU-700, Roland SP-505, and the E-mu 0404 soundcard.

I learned that KRK-RP8 montiors are a bit shitty.

Unfortunately, after all this money spent, I never got the setup I really wanted. Though, that MV8000 is something beautiful.

My dream setup is:

1) MPC4000
2) Adam A7 monitors
3) Roland V-Synth XT
4) Kurzweil K2000 Rack
5) Axiom 49 Controller or a WORKING Alesis Fusion.
6) Ensoniq DP-4+
7) SP-1200
LINNDRUM II !!!!

I dont know how fresh most of yous stay around here, but i had to revaluate my priorities when I found my self draped in like 500 dollars getups

150 kicks
100 dollar pants
50 tees
100 dollar hoodies
40 dollar hats
etc..

Too bad you cant pull in honeys by going out in public carrying around and showing off your most expensive wax!!!

$10,000 can be quickly eaten up by just a few items. My computers/DAW cost more than $6000 which I will replace within a year. My recent purchases of my two sampling workstations cost me more than $5000.

1. Pro Tools HD system
2. C24
3. Mac Pro
(there goes $20,000)
