JJOS Manuel Sucks.

Compared to the Akai manuel it really sucks... But its still worth spending the $88 on a way better OS.

It seems very hard to find anything I want in that damn manuel. Wheres MUTE GROUP?

I have had the JJOS2 for 4 days now... And just right now I had to set a couple of my samples to MUTE GROUP and I cant find it on the 2500 or the manuel.

Mute group is in program, er somewhere.

The JJ manual isn't meant to cover issues that are already covered (and therefore pretty much the same as) the original Akai manual.

Well thanks Nym but I did find it moments after I posted this... I just dont like how the manuel is set up. LoL

You can use the JJ OS Manual I wrote for the MPC 1000 version. Judging from the screenshots, it looks like the MPC 1000 and 2500 work the same way. OS 2 is not included by now, but as far as Grid Edit and the new Pogram Editor and stuff is concerned, it will do the job, I guess

PS: I am trying to incorporate the differences of the MPC 2500 version(s) into the manual, if somebody would pm me difference he finds, while working with it.

I remember JJOS before a proper manual...... dis as terrr ible
I couldn't get it... it was some sort of chaotic manual on web, but it was awfull...
since STAN released his .pdf file, I grabbed JJOS within few days .

Now I don't have JJOS 2 because mostly of lack manual
I tried it, but I was confused, so I gave up
another reason is JJOS1 suits me well, but i was curious about new improvements in JJOS2

my opinion is simple, although JJ and his OS's achievement are undisputed, lack of PROPER MANUAL is a first thing which stops me before upgrade
for 90$ for JJOS2, I would like to have a serious manual, with examples etc.

I got 2500 and there some strange little bugs on JJOS1, mostly regarding Qlinks ( maybe is internal AKAI problem, which JJOS can't sort out), besiades STAN's manual works pretty well
