Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

NERO asked about something similar to this in a post earlier. My question is about the zip disk setup. I have never saved on zip disk so i am not sure about how to use them. Lets say i have a few sequences saved on the zip already. And when i go to save some new work by choosing Save all programs and sounds and it says replace same sounds will it erase the programs and sounds already saved on the zip.

Please let me know how to use the zip disk to save multiple songs on one disk? Do you use folders in the zip? If so how do you format your zip to have the proper folders?

Thank you!

if u wanna save the programs and sounds .........

it wont erase the programs you got. but if you edited any of the sounds from that program on the mpc THEN save it, it will save WHAT YOU DID over what was already saved. your programs will remain, but whateva sounds you changed will save over the original sounds.

hope this helps

Since it is a sampler/sequencer you have to save two different files:
.APS (All Programs and Sounds) and .ALL (All Sequences and Songs)
