MPC2500 Akai OS 1.24 not allowing me access to HD via USB....Help

Have you selected the harddrive in the MPC's USB screen? Is the harddrive formatted?

Hard drive was selected then USB was selected..but it goes from HD to CF...

is your card reader fked up? mine was, and it was overriding the hard drive
i disconnected the ribbon cable to the card reader and now it's good as could be (cf reader don't work but i don't care, i don't use it)
