im having a hard time getting my mpc3000LE to sync up and get it wired correctly to all my different instruments. i'm trying to get my mpc hooked up to my motif and logic to where i can make a beat on my mpc, and then use my motif as a midi controller to control logic sounds, but want it wired to where i can quantize my keyboard playing and then have it trigger logic sounds. also how do i get all this to sync into pro tools? i have two seperate mac's. one has PT and the other has Logic. please, and suggestions will help!!!

thanks guys, this is my first forum post ever!!! let's hope it helps me!

Now there a question and a half for your first post! Well it's actually three or four questions, all of which are pretty basic and simple to resolve.

Using both Pro Tools and Logic is a recipe for disaster and total confusion for a relative newcomer to music production. Considering that you need midi advice I cant even begin to imagine why you are planning to use two DAW's when one will normally do.

The information you are looking for will probably be found in the 'Getting Started' forum, or here in 'Studio Environments'. Try out the search functions and go back through 5-10 pages of the forums to see if a similar question has been recently answered.

If after doing that you are still stuck, I will try to help you out if no-one else has by then. Also, have a look here:
