Hey, I've had my 1K for a week and I've just been learning the basics of it really. Haven't done anything beyond an 8 bar loop because I always end up recording and chopping new samples and making new drum kits. I'm like a kid in a candy shop with this thing.

I'd just like to say thanks to everyone here for helping me get acquainted with this beast (although I haven't asked any questions, I've read a LOT of posts). Well, I'm off to stock the fridge and RTFM. :D

Congrats.

a BIG piece of advice and something you will see ALOT inthe manual.

EVERYTHING that you highlight with the cursor, hit WINDOW and you will almost always get a page with in depth
settings for that highlighted item.

Yeah I noticed that window LED is almost always lit up. I'm trying to learn things slowly so I can take everything in. I have forgot about the window button once or twice though and I beat myself up when I realize why I can't find what I'm looking for. :lol:
