MPC To Workstation Question

Ok, I have been looking around for this and cant find it anywere. I see stuff everywere about how to set-up your MPC (lets say MPC5K) to your workstation (lets say a MOTIF XS) or whatever, but what I want to know is, after I have recorded and saved my performace on the 5K (save entire memory or whatever) and shut off the 5K and the workstation. When I want to come back to load up the song and I cut on my MOTIF and 5K, load the song... then what?

Are the sounds that I saved still gonna play? I know that MIDI saves data but will it save what sounds I used on the MOTIF? Will they be automatically loaded back up or will I have to remember what sounds I used and load them back into the MOTIF? Im just kinda lost at this point.

I just ordered my 5K and im picking it up friday, and ill probably be getting the XS6 not long after so im just thinking ahead. TIA - Thanks In Advance

Have you downloaded or peeped the manuals for both yet?

Not yet for the MOTIF, it didnt say anything for that in the MPC manual, im just trying to see if you have to reload the sounds on the workstation everytime.

I doubt if you have to do this every time, you just save the sysex data or dump it to the mpc.
