Simultaneous Mode MPC 60/60 (2) and 3000 owner.

? Does anyone ever have this issue when layering drums. Example, you might have a snare on one pad and another snare on another pad and want both sounds to trigger at the same time using the simultaneous mode on the MPC. But when you hit the main pad that has the Simul set you might not hear anything or the sound merely cancels out. Just wanted to get some input on this and if anyone is aware of a work around. All pads are functioning on the MPC. Glo in advance!

MPC 6o/6oII/3ooo/3oooLE models are not 'true' samplers
as opposed to, say, a 4ooo or an ASR 1o, which are true samplers
you cannot put two sounds over the top of one another that are the same frequency
they will either phase or cancel out
add a little filter to one of the snares first
set the MPC to full level
and test the sound before you lay down a part
