It's not that i didn't look before i asked all of yall, I certainly checked at least 6 to 7 pages
but i still have this burning question.
I have a compact flash reader installed in my mpc 2000 xl, working perfectly since day one.
I have got 3 cf cards, 2 of them 256 mb and one of them only 16 mb. I always use these cards and they
are full with sounds and sequences made qith the mpc.
now comes the question part,
I always record sound from my pc back into my mpc using rca jacks but for some reason lately the signal
isn't that clear anymore and often filled with static background noise.
So i had that eureka moment to drag myself to a computershop and buy a usb card reader to hook up to the pc.
I went home and connected the device to the computer. Windows recognized the card reader and as a first
test I decided to just put in a cf card ( one of the 3 with the snd's pgm's etc...) and check if i could browse it.
but it didn't
it kept on saying " this disc is not formatted "
so i tried the other 2 cards and both of them also werent working on my pc.
Computer also asked if i wanted to format the card so i tried once but it couldnt even complete formatting.
why is this and how can i fix this.
