this may come as a shock to some folk...

but i'm selling my MPC1000.

lol naw but i ain't leavin! narkotiq has decided to make the transition to the MPC2500, i can't really give an answer as to why... its just that it was the first mpc i orginally set out to get, and i have always wanted one... im sure there are more reasons but i won't bore any of you.

but don't get it twisted... i seriously love my MPC1000, its given me the best music making expierence of any other hardware to date, i will always cherish and admire the MPC1000 but its just time for me to move on. Nevertheless the first thing i will be doing when i get my 2500 will be get JJOS2, i simply coudn't make music without it.

its somebody elses turn to get the coveted white mpc! lol

it was nearly one year ago when i got my MPC1000... and there a few cats on this forum that have helped me out at the start and a few times throughout...

poundaproblem, distortedtechno, nym, taxman, christfutura and anybody else i forgot... i'm very grateful, and i very humbley thank you all. real talk homies, peace.

the MPC2500 forum is about to get a drunken irish muthafuka...

but don't worry fam, you know i'm still gonna be lurkin around the 1000 forum too!!!

peace.

Feelin' u man. I guess a lot of 1k users wanted to have a 2500 in the first place, but couldn't afford one. Including me. Eventhough we all know a 1k is actually a smaller (hardware) version of the 2500 when ur rockin' JJOS, but it looks/feels so niccceee.

congrats on getting the 2500. we'll still see you in the jj os forums, since we'll be dealing with the same stuff.
i've thought about the 2500 for a while, but i spent so much money upgrading and refurbishing the 1000, that i'd take a loss if i sold it. but i've been so comfortable with the 1000 and prefer the portability of it anyway.
now if my 1000 were to get stolen or damaged beyond repair, i'd probably end up with a used 2500.
the 5000 just aint for me, so that would never happen, especially without the jj os.
