Saving "everything in memory"

Hi, I just got my mpc in the mail yesterday. I can make beats,, save beats , sequences,, programs,, ,create programs,,, all that good stuff came to me easy luckily,,,, but when i save "everything in memory" to a folder (new one).,, When I load it back up,,, it puts the parts in the wrong places all the time. How do I make it put em in the places they should be without manually changing them each time I load. I have os 1.40 ,, Is this the problem? Is it an os problem? or Is this just something Im going to have to get used to? If i dont use a sequence for a while,, I might forget where the parts should go.

first off upgrade to 1.51 asap,via os loader (usb cable from pc/mac into the back of your 4k), u can also use cd/usb sticks.

when using os loader make sure the 4k is on with empty memory after a fresh boot up and push the inital key in the gobal page to default all settings ,,also make you dont unplug the 4k or anything while the os is being updated as u can cause big problems,just drang the .bin file onto the loader when the and follow on screen instructions,

with the loading thing it sounds like u have more than one multi in memory and havent selected the right multi in the mutli page after loading ,

Yes, first install OS 1.51 (just for a few weeks, untill OS 1.6 is arrived).

A program can have a part number. Make sure they are all off.

When the MPC boots, a default program and multi is loaded. Disable that in the misc or global page. Now the next time you turn on the MPC, nothing will be loaded and you can now load everything in the right place.

Also, disable autoload in misc window

Oh and when you save everything that's in memory, save everything into 1 folder (a new one). The next time you load it, first load the song then load the muti(s).

also ,, theres a drum kit left in there from the previous owner and when I load it,,, it wont let me put a part 2 , 3 or 4 0r 5,,, etc.... in. Its small and it will let me change which program to put in the part 1 ,, but wont let me put anything in (programs) for parts 2 on up. Even when i delete the drum kit program that causes this,, it still has this problem until I reboot. Even if i put a new good kit in and erase the memory first. Is there bad drum kits out there that currupt the mpc temporarily? this is one out of many drum kits and such the previous owner left for me btw. I had no problem with any of the other kits ive used. SOrry if this sounds like im ramblin,, but I am.
