MPC1000 pgm editor for mac?

just PM'd you... Love the concept behind your app, would love to help with the interface if you're interested...

How soon can we try it?

I've been using the app with no problems for the past few days, so it looks good so far. I have an old iBook that I'm going to boot up into OS 10.2 tonight and see how well the iBook can run the program. I might have to change some interface elements to make the application work in OS 10.2...

Then a website, some documentation, a disk image, and release

So very soon...

Here's my system specifics:

OS 10.3.4
Power Mac G4 Dual 867Mhz
1.25GB Ram

Everyone will get to be a beta tester (sorta)
When the app is released, send me e-mail if it breaks on your system

I'm using some 10.3 interface objects which might break in 10.2 so I'm going to test it out first. Hopefully nothing big has to be changed. If it works fine on both my 10.3 and 10.2 computers you can expect a release at the beginning of next week.

Well.. some bad news for 10.2 users

I did a quick test for 10.2 and it started up the program but could not load the PGM editing window. I swapped out a bunch of interface objects that aren't compatible with 10.2, tried building it against the 10.2.8 SDK, fixed up some code, but still nothing.

I know that there are 10.2 users on the list here, so I'm going to see what I can do to getting it working... no promises if it will ever work though, sorry If I do get it working I will release the 10.2 version later.


But this might be seen as good news for the 10.3 users - the app has been running fine here now should be out soon. I'm working on the website now.

That's the spirit!

There should be a build target option for 10.2

So you can choose to compile for 10.1...10.2 or 10.3

I will check it out and see if I can find it.
