Keyboard Controller & Mpc 1000 Help Needed!

Whats up, this is my first post here, and I'm new to the mpc 1000. I got a Oxygen 61 hooked up to the 1000 and controlling sounds in Reason 4, now everything works perfect except for when I power I get nothing out of the controller for atleast 20 min. then the controller starts working fine again. settings on mpc and connections are all correct. I think it has to do with the Oxygen 61.

Just to summarize I power on, press a key and nothing! leave it for 20-30 mins. try again, all perfect!

maybe it just takes that long for your pc to initialize the controller. not saying thats normal. just that it may be whats happening

i think that there might be something with advanced functions... try pressing the ADV FUNCTIONS button, and then the key that sets the "MIDI OUT", i think its around C2. i dont have an oxygen, but it could be that the MIDI OUT on the keyboard has been disabled, but still works through USB.

oh yeah make sure your MPC is set to receive on the correct channel, or ALL channels
