I was wondering what is the best way to recreate a beat for a remix... tap it out to the original beat? i know one of you MPC lovers can help me out

Got it. I have tried that with mixed results. But at least you are kinda making the artist rap to your beat instead of trying to make a beat fit existing vocals. I usually end up having to chop up the vocals and stretch them to make them fit. Either way works. But my way is better
