anyone sure that this is the right box for making daft punk style house beats??

I use it for techno/house and the compressor, filters, and fx in it are dope! Go get it!

i agree. i think it's a great machine for pounding repetitive beats. the only thing is, if you want to make daft punk type shit, you are going to need some quality analog synths, that's the secret to their music. or at the very least, get yourself a really good emulator, like absynth.

daft style beats = 500... daft style synths = 500 aswell... it all has to do with what u make of it.. its a sampler after all, eh?
