oh i've not been on wiki either - i was just implying that you had got the continent information form there. you're clearly a well educated person. unlike myself.
back on topic though - im starting to feel a bit sorry for kreat ... i imagine him sat in a log cabin, cut off from the rest of the world, unable to source any nice loops to flip. he's clearly trying really hard to get by on this forum and english isnt his first language.. maybe we could start up a one way beat/loop exchange for him.

i think this site would be up ur street, at least u'll be able to here the records they used to make the tunes u will learn from hearing how they flipped it and also u can challenge ur self to flip the samples differently or see if u can find a different part of the song to sample.

im suprised peeps were so quick to critisise cos from out western perspective its easy for most of us to go down to a record shop but if ur living in a rural; area and u aint got access it makes sense to use whats available to have fun and make music with whatever software and samples he can get on line.

I believe what StonesThrow is saying is it's **** huge. There may be good records but there in different places. That's like him sitting in Russia saying there are good records here because I live in the US. True, BUT the selection is not the same all over. I live in NC. I'm not exactly working with the same availability as NY or Cali. I'm not saying I cant find anything, but I'm pretty sure it's a bit more difficult than some other places.

Exactly. You never know what someone else's situation is. There may be nothing around for miles. Ya'll are acting like you just walk through the streets of Russia and people are just throwing rare records at you.

good point depends where he lives, eg- if he lives in a rural area, or small town. I've been to countries in europe and if u lived in a bad spot u may have to travel like 2 or more hours to find a place with a decent vinyl collection.
but saying there is no vinyl in russia as a country isnt true. remember, u can always buy off the net, or save up heaps of money and then travel an hour or two and buy over 100 records in one dig! men have done greater things than find vinyl in russia...u just gotta haul ass and find it!
