MPC4000 VS Software

Hello Everyone,


has anybody here ever thought about getting rid of their MPC and going completely digital? I tried to rock with just logic pro and Battery 3 but I couldn't do way to slow and to many clicks

Its all about the best of both worlds!

MPC 4000 + Software

There was a great post a while back on how to use the MPC 4000 with logic.... I tried it out and have not looked back.

seconded logic and the mpc4k great combination.

Check the hyper editor if u using logic it does alot of the things the mpc seq does but with a visual interface.

I like using my 4k along with Nuendo. But I really love using Ak.sys & my fav two track editor together to get sh!t done.

All the interviews I read about people selling all their hardware stuff to go all computer have regretted it afterwards and now start buying back their old stuff for incredible high prices!

I always read people complaining about flat digital mixes. So, when u really wanna go all computer make sure you send your busses out of your interface through an analogue summing mixer.

if you're mixing in an mpc you're going to have the same flat digital mix...mpc is just as digital as a computer is, you know. if you need an analog summing mixer for the computer, you're gonna need it for the mpc too.
