Real Old Schooler's??

Hi

Just interested to know if anyone out there still uses or actually prefers the original software version for the 60?
I've heard the original is simpler to use than the upgrade, anyone verify this?

The latest version "Roger Linn Design" released version of the MPC60 OS is better to use in my opinion than the orginal "AKAI" one which has some operation limitations.

Navigation is more like the MPC3000...

i do not use the MPC 60 anymore. However; i do perfer the original O.S. For the sole reason, it supports midi sample dump. i would use "Bias Peak" to edit my samples, then dump to MPC60. This was my style for the MPC60

the sequencer is seriously crippled without the upgrade, SDS is a small price when you can use the MPC editor to transport samples.

I've just heard a few comments that the old O.s's overall are generally more intuitive, with regard to how sounds and sequences are stored, help function and a few other things.
How is the old O.s seriously flawed compared to the upgrade as far as the sequencer goes?
Just trying to get a feel for how it was improved

what?????????I just upgraded, for a year I had the original mpc 60 mk2, yesterday I upgraded, and its not even close!!!!! Do I have to mention how sweet mono is?. The pads are more sensative, you can cut off. Plus things sound cleaner, crisper, but wit the grit. Its like I was running in the sand..now Im running on the sidewalk. The original 60 has no cut off, no use for the decay fader. I have no manual for the new software, but you dont need it

oh yes you do!!! There is a lot more to this machine than meets the eye.
