MY 3K Stalled in Song Mode???

So i was workin on a few joints today for a hot minute.
i'd say tha MP was on for a total max 8-9 hrs...
nodded out a couple different 16s wit hooks... (and as i was on my third sample)
i was in tha SONG Command, mappin out my sequences so i could print tha *****!
and when i hit "play form start" across tha bottom of tha screen it read:
"MMC <play> command sent"
and then it would never play... quite discouraged, i started browsing thru tha menus and commands hopin to find some setting that i may have accidentally turned on in a fury of <funtion> keyin it...
(*plus im kushed out my mind)
and yet to my dismay i found no evidence of this occurrence...
next i picked up tha manual, started readin, and found no more hints or clues...
any help would be appreciated...?
im prayin this isn't tha beginnin of a whole nother rabbit hole...

No that's not a big problem or something you just got into the MIDI Machine Control (MMC) mode it happend to me before on the 3000, but don't have the 3000 in front of me so I can't tell you how to quit this mode right now.
But I rememeber it is really simple (once you know how) I think it is statued in the manual also.

Im not behind my 3k right now.. but as far as i can remmeber... Hold Stop and press play to activate or deactivate mmc send

U can also turn it of in the midi option screen.

Note...

The user manual also makes mention of this function.

Hint.

Don't "blur" your button presses on the transport controls.

Use a distinct, non overlapping approach to the button pressing.

That way you won't accidentally enable the MMC deferred wait mode.
