Hah, yeah im still debating if i should do that. I know i will have some money left over but i dont know if i should save it for next semester or if i should spend it to live comfy. I am trying to trick myself into thinking DAW is the same as hardware...

I think the vestax is slimmer and has slightly rounded edges, so it would probably fit better in a bag.

yeah, but the vestax is twice as long as the pt-01,
so even if the pt-01 is thicker its dimensions
will easeier get into a backpack

i would def say the vestax is smaller for backpacks. the pt01, if in a backpack, is pretty much the only thing in there


the vestax is atleast flat. like a binder shape or whatnot

Here are some updated shots. Not pictured is my bcf2000, my mpd16, and my radium 49. I switched up from using a desktop to using my laptop. The laptop takes up a lot less space and I really like that. I sold my Ensoniq ESQ-1 and bought an Ensoniq EPS. I love the EPS and its the new center piece of my production rig. I still use Reason and my cd3000i. I mainly use the EPS as a drum machine/sequencer kinda like a mpc. When I fix the screen on my cd3000i Ill be using it as my main sampler for chopping loops and things.

Thanks man, but i think everythings going to be alright. I just found out today that i am eligible for some financial aid and maybe even a student load which should help me out substantially. In the end ill probably just sell everything and buy a 61 key workstation, an XS6 or an ASR10.

do you find the alesis io26 is a piece of shit? Mine seems to be extremely unstable and I find it to sound quite flat and boring. Every now and then it totally packs it in and has this extreme digital distortion and i have to turn it off for a while. Highly NOT recommended

If you look at the pictures in series it looks like you are circling abobe your gear before coming in for landing next to your IO26.

damn man, really ? :O i havent had any problems with the actual interface part, not yet anyways (*knock on wood*)... the only problems ive had withit is that ive been trying to get the MIDI setting doen but i cant seem to find a way, i already gave up trying cause i can record all the 8 channels from my mp at the same time to the cubase, fcuk them MIDI shits

have you dropped the interface or something ? you still have warranty left ? you shoul contact the dealer or Alesis for that matter to get the ish fixed, i know i broke my **** back to get the money to buy that ish and its not fun if its broken after awhile...
