beat making on the mpc e book

ive been through the manual front to back a bunch of times. but i still feel like im missin a lot of info.
is the beat making on the mpc e book worth 40 bucks???

the book will show you some techniques of producing on mpc that you wont find in the manual. mostly manual covers what function each button/menu have etc.

tutor's book goes little beyond that. ex it explains what are ghost notes and how to properly create ghost notes to make percussion drum pattern sound fuller.
