how to record the beat in different chanels?

hi all.
how can i record\play the beat in different chanels?
her a example from youtube when the guy play the diffrent sounds:

dude seriously? thats called track mute. so looke for the button that says "track mute" and roll with it. and remember. if you record all your drums on one track then you cant do that.

so because of that i cant do it..
how i record in different tracks?

push the track button.
scroll up.
record.

the tricky part is, you got to record each instrument separately.

one more question.
if i already record the samples, can i move each sample to another track ?

if you have all your drums on the one track, and want to put them on seperate tracks, then make as many copies of the track as their are different drums. then delete everything but one thing from each track.
