bluebox didn't work well on vista for me, it kept only saving the first file i added in the program. and every other pad would either be that SAME first file, or just blank. i never even bothered to transfer to the mpc. unless there's some updated version of bluebox i dont' know about ???

Make sure you use the " save all " function BxJaze

I tried it yesterday on vista worked fine ...

here is how i proceed to do my program...

I put all the sound i m gonna use in a folder named with the program name

Assign all the samples in blue box

Then use the " save all " function to save all the samples & .PGM into the folder you previously created.

Works like a charm here

Nope on BLue Box

After you used the "save all" function put the folder on your MPC & use the LOAD function to load the .PGM

Hope this helps

Bye

tried it, pgm appears to save properly (all associated wavs end up in the folder i specify, and with the samples.....

but when i move it to the mpc and load the pgm, all it does is put the sample files in memory.......i'd still have to map them through the mpc.

:?

If i remember correctly ( i ll confirm tonight as soon as i can ) you need to put all the samples in your destination folder before importing them on bluebox

ie :

create a folder named TR808 on your desktop
put all the wav you r gonna use on it
drag the samples on the pads in bluebox ( i use drag & drop )
then use the save function & save all function to save your program IN THIS SAME TR808 folder you previously created.

then it should import fine on the mpc

let me know if it doesn t

hope this helps

bye
