thanks,yeah tascam has discontinued them,it's a shame.They were kind of pricey, like $5000,so they didn't take off.It was made to be a hardware all in one.It's based on an amd motherboard & cpu,BE operating system,128 track midi seq,3 slots for card options like adat or analog i/o.Come's standard with 2 midi in's 4 midi out's,adat,2 sdif i/o & 16 xlr/1/4" i/o.You can use the keyboard mouse & monitor,or just the panel buttons & knobs.Internal harddrive cd/rw ethernet it export's to protools & the 16 track recorder & fx sounds lovely. It will do almost every thing a computer daw will do including control it @ midi.& it has a nice talkback section.The routing is anywhere to anywhere full dynamics,eq,busses,sends & inserts on every channel.It only records upto 24bit/48khz but it will take my mpc's digi out and convert it to 48khz.If you can find one buy it,you'll be glad you did.Some guy in philly has one on craigslist he but he wants $2000.
