Ez all. May sound like a stupid question but ere goes..

say i load a sample, i speed it up via the q-link, it sounds fine, loops fine. I record it.. fine.
then i press stop, play da sample again but it drops back to the original tempo!!

Also say I have everything right, I get it looped right, then record it, all fine.
I save the entire memory. when i turn off the mpc, put it back on a later date, the tempo dropz back to the original tempo.

question iz, how do i save the tempo i've adjusted it to on the q-link??
HELP!
Nice1 in advance.

you mean tune, not tempo, don't you? you can't destructively change a sample's playback speed with a slider.

change your sample's playback tune in program mode. qlinks are for post-program nondestructive playback modulation, not for setting a sample's tune permanently.
