Quest about jjos and new mpc pads

I'm going to be getting the new or (retro) i think they are called pad set installed tomorrow from vst
here in california, my question is is there anything I should know about how these new pad sets and the jj os interact with each other?
are there any special settings I need to make after the installation?
any info would be alot of help and thanks

Those who exchanged the pad for a new pad or are using MPC1000 BK-N need to adjust pad sensitivity first.

thank you for responding Jacky, I should have said that I'm running jjos version 1 4.97 to be exact, thinking about upgrading to 4.99, anyway does adjusting pad sensitivity first mean first before i take it too vst or before using after installation?
