MPC and Triton

I have an MPC 2000xl and a Triton. I want to hook the Triton up to the MPC so I can play the Triton over the beat I made in the MPC while listening to the beat. I have sampled but never played directly to the mpc as the beat was playing. Basically just trying to put down some bass. I just got the Triton a few days ago so I am still trying to figure it all out. I read the MPC manual on hooking up through midi but its just not working. I thought there was a post on hooking up the Triton to the MPC through midi a few days ago but my search turned up nothing. thanks.

MPC midi out to Triton midi in and vice versa.

search....i know i myself have answered this at least two times(so i know youll find results to a search)....and im sure others have too.

im not tryin to be a dick...i understand the midi thing is complex at first. But its so easy, but so hard to write out in a post, so it would be easier for you to search for the answer.
