so technically... i only need 1 zip disk?
right!?

i can store everything on the G4.. right?

ok... last call for someone to prove me wrong..

i'm going on ebay and will shortly bid on 1 scsi 100mb zip drive and 1 usb 100mb zip drive.

Go for 250mb zips!!!!

I already use the set-up you are looking into.

I've got an MPC2000 with a 250mb scsi zip & a Mac G4 with a 250mb USB zip. Format all your zip disks on the MPC.....the Mac will happily read those but I don't think the MPC likes a Mac formatted disk.
If you want to edit your MPC samples on the Mac you need to save them in .wav format on the MPC unless you get hold of MpcPgmMaker, which is a Mac program that converts MPC .snd samples to .wav or .aiff & can also set up MPC .pgms

well i got both scsi and usb 100mb zips.
so it seems as if though i'm gonna be okay.... right?

The Zip 100's you are getting are fine. I put a Zip 250 in my 2kxl and I have more than enough storage for projects and samples on the disk.
Yeah... a 100 is good.
