Wat up guys, im new here and just started to get into diggin and music production (mostly sample based) but ive always loved music. the first picture are the records i got the other day at a local record shop all for about a dollar or two. the other pictures i got from a guy who was selling his records on craigslist 98 total for 5 bucks!!! most of the records he had were hawaiin records, christmas records, and mexican music which isnt bad cause there is some nice drums and some sick sounds in them. i only took pictures of some of the ones i knew were nice and ones i thought were good out of the 98 records i got, there were quite a few percussion records. Im still learnin what years, artist, etc. to look for but im gettin there. the chaka kahn has through the fire the song kanye sampled and the herb alpert has rise which biggie sampled on the song hypnotize so i had to get them just to have even though their sick artist anyways.







Let me know what you guys think or if u guys recognize some of the not so noticeable ones. the santana Abraxas was a sick find i love santana.

on the west-coast I only went 2 the SF-City Area - I forgot to take the passwrd for this account with me otherwise I would have found a bit more shops... but u cant buy time anyway..

Well no wonder they charged customs on that, you didn't remove the price tags. I've gone through customs with records dozens of times and never got charged. If they ask I just say I'm a dj and I played at a friend's birthday or something like that, that's it. (Otherwise they may want to charge you tax on the money they assume you earned or some sh*t)

nono, it wus a lil bit diffrent, I sent probably 60 Records with the Mail & carried another 40 in the plane. U know even after all that paranoid US-Customs & Army on the Airport I was a bit curious cause nobody gave a **** about the big plasticbag...same in London & Germany

...I got charged for the Mail-Box full of records. Because I wrote 200$ Value on the Box, thinking about getting money back if the box got lost (that was the stupid thing...) - So the Customs checked the box automatically because of the "high" value - and found the records & because there is a possibility to trade they charge you....

risch good shlt man theres some nice samples on those rcords. my wife love that MI by Lalo,Lalo makes some great music keep an eye out for his stuff.
