Why Switch Between OS1 & OS2?

I keep seeing references for switching between the OS's. Why would you want to do this? Isn't OS2 more developed than 1? Is this in case you have legacy songs or something?

yes, probably. i don't use os1 to make new songs anymore.

os1 has four velocity layers and two filters on each pad.. but, of course, you can use the simult function in jjos2 if you really need that.

it's for transition. it's a nice thing, too.
i don't use 1 anymore just because i'm faster and more productive in 2.
1 is sick, but 2 is just heaven for me.
