Lunatic, you know what would be cool? If you could make the wood sides so that they prop up the 1k on a nice angle, or something that can extend or fold out the wood side casing to prop it up.

Awhh, man! All those lovely cribs! :P

Can't wait to post picture of mine. I have to wait until it's all wired. Looks kinda like a gear showroom now without cables!

Going through the pages of this thread, I have to say there are tons of places I'd like to be at, too!

Yo Luna, what model Kurz is that you're working with...k2000r, 2500r? And I see you've got the 20 bit layla too. I upgraded both of my 20 bit units to the 24/96 joints.

But the good thing about echo is, they'll fix their products. I had a burnt rectifier in one of the 20 bit layla joints I had one time, called them up about it, got an instant RFQ for the repair, mailed it in & about two weeks later it was sent back repaired and all.

I had to commend them on their excellent repair service.

its a 2000r. moog set on it is thick as hell. that sound set actually stopped me from selling it about 2 months ago. and im looking to upgrade to the 24bit layla too. this is the 2nd 20 bit i have had. the first i sole a few years back. i have never had any probs with my event gear. but now i have a driver issue whith the 20bit. should have never built a new pc.

i also thought about making the sides prop it up at an angle. but i wanted to keep it with the factory style. i could whip out a set of these with the angle for someone if needed.

Cause most of us here are nothing but gear sluts. Proud to be a fellow member of the gear sluts. Just wish it was cheaper sometimes.
