mpc 2500 voltage

is the 2500 a true dual voltage (auto sensing machine) i'm currently a uk 240v user heading to the US and want to know if I can run the mpc2500 directly on 110v US mains. It clearly states AC 100 - 240V 50 / 60 Hz but is that fixed voltage depending on your region or will the mpc 2500 auto-sense the voltage on power up or do I need a step up/down transformer?Can't find clarification anywhere on the net. Thanks if you know the answer through experience.

If it says 100-240V then it can use 100-240V.

Thanks! Is there any manual switching i have to do on the machine. Many machines have voltage selectors, but there is nothing on the mpc 2500 unless it's on the inside. Can anyone clarify that for me please? I'm sure this would be useful info for those of us gigging abroad. Thanks.

If you don't see a switch, chances are there ain't one.

Come on...there's no magic about it, it's a universal power supply like most devices have nowadays.

Thanks for your observation. I too an GUESSING and sure it's a universal power supply but I was curious to know if anyone had ACTUAL experience of powering up a 2500 on both 240v and 110v mains. Shame it's not actually qualified in the manual.

its actually designed to be quad supply, so it can work in the U.S. , europe, asia and autralia
