issue loading from floppy

so im about to install my card reader but i had to put a floppy drive in my pc from my old pc because it only has a multicard reader but no floppy.

i needed to do this so i could save the newest os to floppy and up it into the mpc.

so when i was done i put in one of the disks i use on my mpc (prolly wasnt very smart) to see if it works. and i saw the files on the disk so ok it works.

later i feel like listening to the beat off that same disk and while its loading the program and sounds in the mpc it says "can't find file!!!" so i was sh*tting thinkin my stuff was erased but it seem like the sounds are there. it just wont let me load it with ALL programs and sounds.

i also just noticed that some of the files were renamed with Z9 on the end. imma try renaming them back and see if they load like they sposed to.

it looks like it changed all the mono R files to z9.

what a pain in the ass.

if i remember right i think win xp has a habit of rewriting file names on mpc disks. cant remember exactly but you should search for something like that in the forums.
