Hello mpc heads. Grissozz is here with a few questions.
Sorry mods if i post this in the wrong section, please move this to the right one
I have copped myself a mpc 2500 a few moths ago and i get kind of stuck.
I use it to sequence my esx and a nord and it's great. The ting is i now have a great overlap having both the esx and the mpc, so i'm thinking of selling or swapping the esx for something else to improve my setup.
I'm looking for some new samples and have been searching for a while now.
Most sample packs of interest come in formats like .nnxt .esx .sf2 etc etc
These are in fact multi samples. So i have to manually downsample them and assign them to the diffrent key's and layers. This is quite tediouse work and not very satisfactory ..........
I have been googling and searching here and there for more info to shed some light but i cant really find what i'm looking for. I found something like chicken translator and fusion convertor, but they do not seem to convert to .pgm files.
Is there any converter out there that does? If so, how are it's results?
And if not what do i need to get sastisfactory or similar results?
And finally. I try to make the louder dance style music. Witch samplepacks are most recommended for this?
