2000XL for 4000!??

4k all day..huge memory,USB (host too,not only that slave sh!t the latest MPs have), keygroups (you can load various libraries from the cd or externally),jumbo screen, 6 realtime qlinks..and..and.I mean,i started on the XL but got that beauty only for some "on the road" stuff you know.

cop a 4k....You won't regret it...having a hard drive and being able to hook up usb driver is awesome..

Sorry.. sent that from my palm.. I meant USB DRIVES... Easy to transfer stuff from the computer . Also having a hard drive with all of your libraries makes working 100 times faster. The File organization system is also greatly improved from that of the 2000xl and even the 2500 and 1000 imho.. The 4k also has a full on sampler with editing and routing possibilities the newer MPC's just don't have. Make sure the one you are getting works well and is not beat up .. I do not reccomend buying one sight unseen of the net...

and you can make beats with it!

Stick to your 2000XL and get a Z4 or Z8 sampler --> same engine as he 4000!
