Mpc 2000xl help urgently needed

im having problem with my mpc 2000xl, u know u can use 64 pads,and u can switch from a b c d, sometimes when im on a,and try switching to d, it doesnt do it, the d doesnt light up,and allow me to get to them pads, hope i made it bit clear, anyone know the problem,or hadf same problem

Simple. Open up the MP, clean the BANK D button underneath with some alchohol based solution.

yeah i hate opening up my mpc or doing installs ( i mean hate with a passion).

I take my mpc to an akai service centre if something **** up....but i guess do wht they say cos u dont wanna drop money on something that can be easily fixed.
