what else can i do to my drums or samples i have slowed them down an sped them up is there any i can do to make my drums sound more better or some kind of efx i can put on my samples

EXPERIMENT! EXPERIMENT! EXPERIMENT! if you have only tried slowing them down and speeding them up then you havent even started.

Wait... you have an MPC60/3k and dont know anything else to do other than slow down or speed up samples? I try not to be an @ss but... you know what never mind, im not even gonna go there.

I will put it to you straight... If your drums dont thump, you need ones that do. If your drums sound wack... its cuz they probably are. If you dont like the sound of the drums you are using... you probably need better drums.

There is no amount of processing that will turn weak drums into dope ones. Even when layering... at least 1 of the layers has to be blaaaaoooow.

Its a sampler.. Garbage in = Garbage out.

You could always just run your sounds through a metatrionicdefibulator.
I just put on across my main stereo outs before sending sounds to my DAW.

My bad, your right. Dude should crawl before he learns to sprint. I was kinda hesitant to reveal this "secret weapon" of mine. But I figured if he could afford one or even locate one that's for sale then why not? Everyone needs a leg up sometimes...

What you need is a EmaxulaterEmu-sp950

It makes ANY drum sound sound good.

Eq ur stuff before sampling. Let the peaks on ur mixing board and ur mp's record screen hit the red just a lil'bit.
That's just for sampling. But of course u need those dope ass drum sounds to sample. And that's a digging thing.

After that, layer stuff, tune stuff, resample, eq the outs and resample, put maybe a bass note underneath the kick... Just a few things to try out.
And just like those other guys said, get some dope samples first.
