Naw... I use this to see how much some of my rare records are worth worldwide.
A record you get for $2 in Huntsville, Alabama (Farley "Jackmaster" Funk - "Aw Shucks"... my third copy) can go for $181.30 in France.

Yeah, that website is way off the meters with the pricing. It's almost worse than Gemm. I think it's about time I unload all my classic house records I'm not listening to anymore.


BTW, you also have to consider the fact that some sites like that already include their surcharge in the listing price.

one of my guys from the southside regularly buys records at gramophone and sells them on ebay.....

He just got a request for a by a auction winner to pick up the DJ funk record he won...

the guy lives 5 blocks away from gramophone records....

gramophone price: $6.99
ebay price: $20

seriously... you could make a decent and steady income by ebaying records purchased at amoeba... besides, there are LOTS of people buying recs that dont have access to as many vinyl sources as some of us...

not a bad idea, but just not worth the time for me

$5-30 a record. now if u up that by a factor of 10 u may have something

GEMM.com is the way i go,it's more active, ebay is overrated .

but thats usually what an 80's track goes for these days on ebay or at a record store,especaily if it's house like that.


what you do is look at the highest price and the lowest price and make your judgement upon that ...look at the record you have and the conditions, thats the most important thing is condition of the record and the cover.
