GOT A MAJOR PROBLEM need advice ASAP!!!

What up kinfolk? I just installed the most recent JJ OS1 and my MPC is freakin out now. When I press pads 1-4 they all read A08 44#G on the screen, when I press pads 5 -8 they all read A12 43G_1, pads 9-12 only read A16 53F_2, and pads 12- 16 only read A04 82 A#4. Is there some setting that may have got thrown out of wack with the update? If it is let me know how to get to it and modify it. Also sometimes when I press the mode button and pad (whatever) it does not display the screen of the button I press. For example mode + mixer goes to the trim screen and mode + effect goes to the midi/sync screen. I tried a total reboot. With the JJ OS1. Then I tried reinstalling the Akai OS and that one was goin bananas too. I reinstalled the JJ OS1 and it's still doing the same thing. My JJ OS2 is also doing the same thing as above.

Let me know what you can,

try a factory reset - otherwise i have no idea.
historically it seems that there is a lot of really weird stuff going on with the 2500 regarding this kind of unpredictable behavior. really sounds like hardware stuff. maybe metal is touching inside and creating something weird - i have no idea. sorry boss.

Thanks 4 the feedback and the genuine concern in the message. After it started goin haywire on me I let it sit for about 30 to 45 mins. I cut it on to do the factory reset and now everything seems to be doing fine. This is some crazy stuff!!!? I don't know what's up. All the pads are working properly now when I hit my drums. The mode + whatever is working fine now. I am greatful that it's fine now. God must have been crackin a lil jokey joke on me.

That's good to hear somebody normalize it for me. I wonder what's tha deal? i ain't gonna sweat it too much tho, cause as long as she eventually comes around I can deal with her gettin bent a few times.
