anyone know how to do this? I've got things synced but i want to record the movements of the cut off and so on as midi notes into the mpc3000. i'm sure i've got everything hooked up right and i've followed all the crappy instructions in the manual but still can't do it. any advice? anyone done this before???
thanks in advance...

If you have things "SYNCED" then you are half way there.

The MFC42 sends "CC" messages ... not "MIDI NOTES".

Chapter 4 of the MFC42 user manual holds true for most MIDI sequencers.

The instructions are hardly crappy.

Said instructions do require a certain basic level of MIDI understanding though.

So ......

Tell us "how" you have got your MFC42 and MPC3000 configured ?

Maybe you have just missed some thing simple.
