Do You Sample in Stereo or Mono Most of the Time?

do you sample all your drums in mono?, what about other parts like guitar bass, keys
seems like most do drums and bass in mono, are there times when you don't ?

I sample mono to preserve sampling time and memory space on the CF card. Stereo takes up alot of memory.

This totally depends on the source material for me. Drumz are 99.9% mono...

Everything stereo. Then I'll check both waves, left and right. Depends on what I need and what I have, I decide to keep the leftside (this one is the one u keep anyway when u convert the sample to chops), the rightside or I put both together to make a mono wave.

usually, I'll do it on Stereo since I can save it on my 160 gig Hard Drive, and then transfer it to my comp and then to a File for a DVD-R for storage....I don't worry about memory storage becuase Stereo usually is better quality with the exception of the Drums....they are Monos
