An easy question from a beginner

Ok, so i got my MPC500 and I'm figuring out the main things (loading samples ect) but i cant figure out how to play different samples, using the same pad, when changing sequences. For example, If i create a simple drum beat on sequence 1 using pads 1 and 2, then go to sequence 2 and change the samples on pads 1 and 2, sequence 1 changes as well.

This might not even be possible but, if it is can you please tell me how its done.

Create a new program which hold ur other samples, and asign that program to the new sequence. Do a better a job on reading ur manual, cuz this is basic stuff, described properly in the manual.
